On 20th of July 1944 Stauffenberg who was a German soldier tried to kill Hitler with a bomb. Together with other brave men he has made a plan to kill Hitler to bring peace to Germany. He did put a timebomb into a room in Hitler's headquarter and left the headquarter. Hitler had a lot of luck. For some reasons only one bomb was used although Stauffenberg took 2 to the headquarter. The meeting was in a building with light wooden walls although it was planned in a bunker with strong stonewalls, where the bomb would have been much more effectively. The bomb was underneath a big table and when the bomb exploded Hitler did bow over the table cause there was a map on it.
On the same day Stauffenberg was caught and shot in Berlin. I was at this place with Buck and Shewolf last year in August, was really interesting.
Perhaps there would have been only half as many victims during WW2 when the plan would have worked out cause from July 1944 till end of WW2 about as many persons died during WW2 as from 1939 till July 1944. This event shows that not all Germans supported Hitler. It was a very important event in the German history.
