Rifle only

Ok. I heard some complaints about our admins kick players which don't use rifles when most of ppl use rifles. I don't agree with that and i apply to our admins not to do that anymore. Why? First of all we have 3 rifle only maps where is possible to use only rifles. We apply to all people to give us feedback about putting some more RO maps on server(but as HH is not RO server my personal opinion is that we don't need more RO maps). Second all our game-moderators are doing on server in our spare time. So if Noches or Beri or Buck or me or guys that are helping us (Waldfee and Yrmy, hope i didn't forget someone) waste their time to make ro.cfg file for every map it is rude if ppl are forcing playing RO on maps which are not made to be rifle only. I'm the first one which will not play RO if i don't have to. Second off all now we have stats and everyone wants to have better stats, me included. And I don't want to ruin my stats playing only with rifle. If many ppl want to play RO, or our admins decide it's time to play RO they can turn RO mode ON on the BEGINING OF MAP and after map is over put back all weapons.

For those of you who are rifle masters I'm posting 2 IPs of RO servers, you can play RO 0-24 if you like:

Now, when I will play on server i don't want to hear any more whining about RO, I don't want to hear any complaints because I'm not the judge, jury and I'm not owner of server and i want to concentrate on game and enjoy it. If you want something to say WRITE ON THE F*******+ FORUM.

i agree with slavi, he has point, if map is NOT RO then people can use all wepons, not just rifle, i like rifle so im playing almost always with it, but someone doesnt have ti if its not RO map, so admins pls do not kick people who are not using rifle on all wep maps.We have RO maps for that. thx

if people all agree in the begining of a map too play rifle only and then halfways trough map someone joins and takes auto even after people have told him that the round is rifleonly he should be kicked in my opinon!

I don't agree. We have 3 rifle only maps. Other maps are all weapons. Admin can decide if one map is RO and in the begining of map make it RO. Then any conflicts will be avoided. If all weapons are to choose, then anyone can take whichever weapon he want.
People cannot "agree" or "disagree" whereter they will play RO or not. They can PLAY on server or LEAVE the server. We decided that on HH will be 3 RO maps and that's done. How person wants to play other maps it's their choice.

Correct... If map is meant to be RO, then you should be able to choose only rifles if there is other weapons available, you are allowed to use them. That way no one who join during game wouldn't be kicked because he don't use rifle.

If you have 3 RO.cfg maps in rotation, then there have to be 3 AW.cfg maps which are ALWAYS after RO-map. Also you have to disable normal map voting (Next map and Restart map allowed only), because it will interfere current rotation when someone vote other map during RO-map. If vote is passed, next map will be RO also, because extra.cfg was skipped. At least you just need 2 different kind extra.cfg and just name them correctly, so it is easy to change which maps are RO etc.

And what are current RO-settings? No pistols, No explosives or pick up weapons (panzerfaust etc.)?

btw. I saw years ago one nice extra.cfg or something which randomly decide allies side in map. It was pretty funny, but I don't think that it would work with RO-maps (dunno if you can force teams correctly after they have once set by that other cfg).

All Automatic and semiautomatic weapons are disabled, including pistols and all explosives. Antitank weapons are avaible.
